TEACHING INTERESTS
Dr Rachel Emily Taylor was the Course Leader of BA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts (2019-2026) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Previously, she has lectured at the Royal College of Art, Kingston University, Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, London College of Communication, Leeds Arts University, Arts University Bournemouth, Sheffield Hallam University, and the Sir John Cass School of Art.
She has worked as an External Examiner on BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation at Manchester Met University (2025-present), MA Illustration at UCA Farnham (2020-25), BA (Hons) Illustration at the University of Wolverhampton (2020-24).
She is interested in supervising PhD's that explore: heritage, museums, archives, time, nostalgia, memory, hauntology, voice.
