Dr Soljana Çili is Senior Lecturer in Psychology. She has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from the University of Malta and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Southampton. Since 2014, she has taught and significantly shaped the curriculum of the BSc Psychology of Fashion and MSc Applied Psychology in Fashion (now MSc Psychology of Fashion).

At London College of Fashion, Dr Çili leads and teaches units focusing on individual differences and group dynamics. She also supervises MSc and PhD research projects and chairs the Psychology Research Ethics Panel.

Dr Çili is an ad hoc reviewer for several fashion, psychology, and psychiatry journals. She is an experienced researcher, with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and presented it in national and international conferences. She is also:

• Co-author of the book Autobiographical memory and the self: Relationship and implications for cognitive-behavioural therapy (Routledge, 2019), and
• Lead editor and contributor to the book Applied psychology in fashion: A research-informed approach (Palgrave Macmillan, 2026)
