I teach writing sessions and lead editing surgeries for PGR students throughout the year.

The writing sessions are organised around two thematic clusters: 

1. 'Writing With/Against the Archive' explores different forms and modes of writing archival research, including: positionality and embodied forms of writing; methods of close reading and sensorial attunement; fiction, speculative narratives and critical fabulation. Archive is understood in the broadest sense: it could be a collection of documents housed in a physical building, a body of literature, a set of images or ideas, a group of objects or a repertoire of gestures etc. Responding to writing prompts, participants are asked to write in situ with the opportunity of reflecting on, sharing and receiving peer feedback on their writing.
2.  'Writing In Between Languages' explores multilingual writing or writing in translation. Language is understood in an expanded sense: including dialects, vernaculars, creoles and patois, sign languages, non-verbal languages, graphic or visual languages, and embracing different levels of linguistic proficiency. Responding to writing prompts, participants are asked to write in situ with the opportunity of reflecting on, sharing and receiving peer feedback on their writing.

I also occasionally teach on MA CCC, MRes Exhbition Histories and MA Performance: Screen. 

In the past I have developed webinars on the theme of 'Decolonising Archives' for UAL Short Courses.
