Antonella has planned and delivered learning activities at LCC, City University, and QMUL for BA and MSc students, focusing on creative, critical, ethical, and inclusive approaches to designing screen-based, physical, remote, and/or situated experiences.  She delivered presentations, seminars, tutorials, workshops, and practical activities that helped students develop interdisciplinary, hands-on skills relevant to user experience design. Her teaching philosophy centres around fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to learn, explore and apply inclusive, ethical and sensitive human-centred design processes across digital and analogue media.

Antonella worked as a Lab Demonstrator/TA for the Interactive Systems Design module at QMUL (with Prof. Paul Curzon) for three years during her PhD in large classes of mixed undergraduate and postgraduate students, where she supported students weekly in group activities and individually, acting as a critical figure as they went through the stages of testing and evaluating their designs. She was a Visiting Lecturer at City University, where she taught the Inclusive Design module to a class of MSc-level students. At City, she also taught Creativity in Design (with Dr Alex Taylor and Dr Sara Heitlinger), Understanding User Interactions (with Dr Stephann Makri), and Evaluating Interactive Systems modules (with Prof Steph Wilson), as well as supported MSc students during in-person tutorials and online drop-in sessions.

Finally, she moved to LCC in 2022, in the School of Design, and worked as a Lecturer in User Experience for the Interactive Data Visualisation Studio unit with a cohort of international students. During her time at LCC, Antonella taught Y2 and Y3 BA UXD students and was Y2 Lead. She uses a creative and critical orientation through group-based and individual design projects assigned through theoretical lessons, workshops, and set briefs. She is currently a permanent part-time Lecturer in User Experience Design and (co-)supervises one PhD student.
