BIO
Lezhi Crystal Zhang is a PhD Candidate, designer, and lecturer passionate about climate action, social justice, product design, circularity design, design for social innovation, and education for sustainable development.
She is currently a full-time PhD student at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. Her doctoral research project is titled 'Design education for eco-social justice: Developing tangible interventions in learning and teaching approaches.' This project addresses the gap in pedagogical approaches related to eco-social justice in higher education and focuses on exploring the necessity of evolving climate action and social justice in curriculum design through object-based learning.
