Unit Leader and Associate Lecturer on the MA Art and Science at Central Saint Martins and formerly Senior Lecturer on the BA Hons Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts. He is a visiting lecturer at several other Universities. In his teaching, Holme works to create productive relationships between 'theory' and practice, including ways in which critical methods stimulate and support creative work. In 2016 he enjoyed a three week UAL teaching residency at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, extending Criticism, Interpretation into Creativity with MA students from across the college. He is committed to developing trans- and inter-disciplinary pedagogy. In 2014 he won a UAL award for outstanding teaching and he believes that teaching is more an art than a science.
